Brief

ASATO, an AI Co-pilot for empowering enterprise CIOs SaaS platform. Designing a responsive platform for both – desktop and mobile, and they planning to launch this platform in the US, Canada, EU, India, and parts of APAC.

They are focusing only on large enterprises and ultra-large enterprises in the current market. With their goal, we offer to make the CIO a superhero, providing them with the transparency, visibility, control, and actionable insights necessary to drive meaningful outcomes and transform their organizations.

Our goal was to revamp the entire Asato platform, transforming raw information from multiple sources (like manual uploads, APIs, and browser extensions) into actionable insights for improved decision-making. We introduced AI Copilot with a human touch, a robust report builder and tracker, personalized graphical insights, and enhanced decision outcomes

 Challenge

The main goal of Asato is to create an AI-powered Copilot platform for Enterprise Executives, enabling them to optimize IT spending by making informed decisions based on insights from past cycles, as well as offering the ability to visualize potential outcomes of their decisions.

The main challenge was that, even though there were more competitors for various aspects of the product, their approach was different. So, we created the screens more seamlessly, following our unique approach.

We aimed to develop an intuitive, fast, and reliable platform where multiple CIOs and other leadership management of a company could collaborate simultaneously on the same issue/ report and track the outcomes on demand. The incorporation of the latest technology, including AI and the LLM for the Asato ChatGPT module, was quite challenging as we had to conduct thorough research since we were new to it.

We initiated our research by hosting workshops for 2 weeks and engaging with stakeholders to gather information and understand their needs, pain points, and expectations. Their existing platform only showcases the information graphically, pulling data from the back-end. These workshops helped us to convert that overall information into actionable insights.

Need a high-level view of business technology/app spend, usage, utility, and ROI.

Focus on preparing data and insights for CIO decision-making.

DEFINE

After researching competitor analysis and user personas, we have gathered enough insights to move forward with the product. The envisioned product offers various services, serving as a repository to capture and track reports and insights. It provides a platform where CIOs can collaborate and take action, incorporating a report builder and tracker to monitor decision outcomes.

Our goal was to create an intuitive platform with structured and simplified navigation, enhancing seamless user experiences. Based on our discovery and the information gathered, we have developed an Information Architecture (IA) for the product, which guided us in creating the wireframes.

Once we finalized the IA after iterations, we started with wireframes. A web-first approach was followed while making the wireframes which were then scaled-up into responsive mobile screens.

DESIGN

Application:
After a lot of research and understanding of the end users we began with the design process. We created a moodboard with all the design elements like colors, typography and the illustrations that we’re going to use in this application.

Since we are using dashboards throughout the platform, to make it easier for the users to access and understand more information, we came up with designs that are minimalistic and clean. We have thoughtfully curated a select palette of colors in the entire platform and we have incorporated ample white space to enhance the users’ focus on the displayed data.

We created a comprehensive solution allowing users to efficiently handle assets, manage their users, track reports & make decisions. Most importantly they can use an AI copilot for making critical decisions. The typography that we used here will make the user feel comfortable to go through the information effortlessly. To achieve a clean interface design we opted for a light theme.

For the website we’ve gone with a mix of light and dark themes for particular sections to grab the user’s attention where necessary.  And also the animations used in the website  were subtle and reflect the co-pilot feature which is an important feature of the product.

  • Implement time-based system-generated reports, trigger recommendations for CIOs to make better decisions, assign report-related tasks to users, and track outcomes.
