Brief

eShakti is a predominant fashion retail e-commerce platform in the US for customized women’s clothing. It is specialized in designing custom clothing for women and offers various brands to select customization services from. eShakti is a one-stop shop for women of all body shapes; it caters to their demands and gives them confidence in the clothing that is uniquely designed for them. In order to focus on customization services, we had to create a journey for the users which was intuitive, effective and easy to use.

Challenge

The primary goal of eShakti is to create a personalized journey for the consumers by providing customization. eShakti approached Lollypop with the objective of positioning themselves as the foremost fashion retail e-commerce platform by creating a dynamic and smooth experience.

We conducted market research, competitive analysis and verified data from different sources like Heat Maps, Google Analytics, Customer Feedback before heading to the right design direction. The key challenge was to build a platform for eShakti that has a simple, seamless and intuitive customization flow, considering many small parameters for customizing clothes. We wanted to create a smooth flow throughout the customer’s journey, ease product discoverability from different categories, keeping usability in mind.

Wireframe

Our focus was on scalable wireframes with keywords that provide easy navigation throughout the platform. Through our wireframes, we provided the customers in-depth information about the product, the brand, and the measurements for customization which in turn built trust in the consumers’ minds.

The ‘Buy Now’ option was provided to let users proceed with the purchase quickly in case they are not interested in going through the custom style process. ‘More customisation’ CTA gave the freedom to proceed with further customization with additional text giving clear ideas on the features they can change. For repeated customers, we made the measurements prefilled as per the purchase history, to make the task a little more easier.

Design

Our chief focus for eShakti’s visual design was on the aesthetic of the brand and its related materials; strategically implementing images, colors, typography and other elements.

Through the visual elements, we have conveyed feelings such as delight, confidence and interaction. The visual appeal of eShakti can awaken memories and emotions like trust, comfort, hope and self-confidence.
