Name, position, and visually launch a high-growth brand from scratch
The client came with a concept, not a name. The full scope included brand naming, positioning strategy, and visual identity, all working together to establish a brand that could compete in a fast-moving, digital-first market. The name needed to be own able, energetic, and built to scale.
To build a distinctive brand from the ground up, from name to identity. The name needed to be short, memorable, globally viable for trademarks, and carry a strong emotional and strategic narrative. The visual identity had to feel like a natural extension of the name, not an independent layer. Additionally, the brand needed to avoid overused fire and energy clichés while still reflecting the intensity behind “Blaze.” The logomark also had to function as a strong standalone icon, particularly as a recognisable “B.”
Name – Blazeup
A two-part compound name, “Blaze” represents intensity, speed, and energy, while “Up” signifies growth, elevation, and forward movement. Together, it forms a verb-driven name that acts as both identity and action.
The naming was established first as a strategic foundation, allowing the visual identity to evolve logically from it.
