Stanza Living is a leading provider of fully managed, tech enabled co-living accommodations designed for students and young professionals in India.
Stanza Living provided fully-managed, tech-enabled living accommodations for students & young professionals across 23 Indian cities. With a capacity of 70,000 beds across all centers, it offers amenities like meals, internet & housekeeping through a light-asset business model.
The Stanza Living Mobile Application is designed to create a seamless digital experience for the tenants of Stanza Living, transforming traditional physical interactions into efficient and intuitive digital experiences. The goal is to enhance every aspect of the living experience by leveraging our state of the art design & top-notch technology, making daily tasks simpler and more convenient. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the Stanza Living app aims to elevate the living experience by making it more connected and digitally streamlined.
Developing the Stanza Living mobile application involved overcoming several significant challenges to transform the entire physical experience of room searching, visiting, and booking into a seamless digital platform accessible across India. Integrating diverse services into a cohesive app, ensuring a consistent user experience, and maintaining scalability and performance were crucial.
We also needed to ensure real-time data synchronization for accurate room availability and booking status. Through continuous user feedback and improvement, we aimed to create an app that enhances the tenant experience, making it more accessible, efficient, and enjoyable.
To thoroughly understand the challenges faced by users of the existing app, we facilitated a remote discovery workshop with key stakeholders. This collaborative session enabled us to gather firsthand insights into the issues and pain points experienced by users. Through these workshops, we successfully mapped and documented the crucial insights needed for improvement.
Key objectives identified included transforming physical tasks into seamless digital experiences, enhancing booking processes, and improving the visibility of available services. Additionally, we explored the introduction of in-house cafe services to further enrich the user experience. These insights were pivotal in guiding the development of a more intuitive and efficient mobile application, aimed at elevating the overall user experience.
After conducting discovery workshops and end-user research, we began designing wireframes to address identified user needs and enhance the app. We structured the app’s layout, prioritized key features such as simplifying the food preferences flow, creating a personalized homepage, and improving the support ticket system.

The UI/UX design for this case study embraces glass morphism, blending brand colors to ensure recognition and coherence. Central to the design are Stanley mascots, each expressing different emotions to forge a personal connection with users. Icons are styled with transparency, enhancing clarity and modernity throughout the interface.
A carefully chosen color palette maps functionalities for intuitive navigation across in-house services. This approach not only prioritizes aesthetics but also aims to improve user interaction and engagement. By combining contemporary design trends with user-centric elements, the UI/UX design strives to deliver a seamless and visually appealing digital experience.
We adhered a consistent design language. Keeping the original version, we simplified it and created an abstract, visually appealing logo design


Albert Sans is a modern, geometric sans-serif font family inspired by early 20th-century Scandinavian design. It comes in ten weights, from Thin to Black, and supports over 200 languages.

The brand colors help convey the personality and values that are used to create brand recognition and consistency across all materials.
Without straying too far from the brand guidelines we have tweaked the colors for more effective color contrast between background and the text.


Half-filed icons are simple yet depthful, they convey information effectively with clean aesthetic, enhancing user enagement.
We evaluated our designs internally with proven practices to measure their effectiveness in regards to credibility and usability. The resultant was a cohesive experience ecosystem around that felt curated, usable and useful for users.
The value add we brought in was with an intuitive and interactive regionalized experience, faster way of exploring content and easy to use interface that gave a feeling of personalised experience and interface across Mobile, Web and Television.



The redesigned mobile app successfully enhanced the user experience by simplifying navigation, improving the food collection flow, and making room booking easier. Monthly payments and reminders were thoughtfully redesigned, and the support and feedback sections were made more accessible.
These improvements transformed complex physical tasks into seamless digital experiences, aligning the app with user needs and making daily tasks more efficient and user-friendly.
