Designing a responsive website for both - a desktop and mobile, while ensuring the users feel that the brand is selling fashion and not just the products.
Zudio is a fashion brand from the house of Tata Trent Ltd. They predominantly cater to younger shoppers between the age group of 16-35 years and include merchandise for men, women and kids.
With over 300 stores in 42 cities across India, they now want to capture the online market with a premium and intuitive shopping experience.
As the design team at Lollypop were building an MVP for Zudio, we held an extensive discovery workshop with stakeholders at Zudio to understand the brand, it’s aesthetics and to understand the focus of the stakeholders with regards to the ecommerce website.
After thoroughly understanding the needs of the business and the users, we wanted to ensure that we achieve the same without compromising of the usability of the website. Post a thorough analysis of many of the competitors’ platforms, we made a list of some of the probable features we would like to incorporate in the first phase of Zudio’s website.
Once we finalized the IA after iterations, we started with wireframes. Mobile-first approach was followed while making the wireframes which was then scaled-up into responsive desktop screens.
Below are the high-fidelity wireframes which were created and later pushed to the visual design stage.
We focused on creating an appealing yet clean and consistent design, that aligned with Zudio’s brand identity, and created a cohesive experience. We strategically implemented images, colors, typography and other visual elements, that evoked a feeling of trust, comfort, reassurance and excitement, thus promising a hundred percent customer satisfaction.
