By combining academic data analysis, personality assessments, and immersive career simulations, “Chóp Chéc” delivers a personalized, data-driven approach to career orientation that bridges education, technology, and the labor market.

Challenges
Many Vietnamese students struggle to make informed career decisions due to limited self-awareness, minimal exposure to real work environments, and reliance on biased or incomplete information from families, schools, or social media. As a result, they often face mismatched majors, low job satisfaction, and wasted educational resources.

Research

In Vietnam, the career trends of university students reveal several noteworthy issues. According to a study by Vietnam National University (VNU), graduates working in jobs unrelated to their field of study often earn lower incomes than those employed in their trained professions.

Additionally, surveys reported by Thanh Nien in 2018 and Tuoi Tre in 2021, based on data from Navigos Group, indicate that around 60% of students felt their initial career orientation was not suitable after graduation. This has contributed to a widespread shortage of high-quality human resources among many businesses.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training and the General Statistics Office, in the 2023–2024 academic year, Vietnam had approximately 25.6 million students in preschool and general education, with an average annual growth rate of around 10%.

This highlights the urgent need for intelligent and scalable career guidance solutions.

In the context of rapid digital transformation, the Vietnamese government has identified education as a key sector in the National AI Strategy to 2030. Simultaneously, the release of national-level education data has created favorable conditions for analyzing transcripts and academic performance, thereby enabling more accurate career guidance.

Completing the learning roadmap unlocks a skillset analysis report that evaluates each user’s strengths and areas for improvement. Based on the results, the system recommends suitable game levels for users to retake, helping them further develop their skills.

Additionally, users who complete the roadmap can earn rewards such as tuition vouchers from vocational centers or exclusive major-introduction videos from partner universities. This immersive process transforms career exploration into a vivid, hands-on journey, allowing students to discover their true potential and ideal career fit.

Serving as the central hub of the user journey, the Personal Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of each learning stage, from the number of careers explored to the skills gained through simulations.

A dynamic to-do list outlines clear next steps, while continuously updated career recommendations expand perspectives and inspire ongoing exploration and growth.

This evolving insight promotes continuous self-reflection and adaptive career planning, ensuring each journey remains flexible, relevant, and future-oriented.

The system then delivers personalized career suggestions tailored to each individual — turning self-discovery into a fun, meaningful journey.
