Celeris is a unified payment orchestration platform designed to streamline payment processes for businesses, enabling them to manage multiple payment methods efficiently and enhance customer experiences​. The platform serves a diverse customer base, including direct e-commerce merchants, ISOs, acquirers, neo-banks, fintechs, and enterprise clients, providing a white-label, cloud-native payment gateway as a PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service)​

 

Celeris stands for Trust, Innovation, Speed, Integrity, Knowledge, Motivation, and Teamwork, providing cutting-edge payment solutions that cater to diverse business needs. Competing with Ixxopay, ACI-Pay.On, and Primer.io, Celeris sets itself apart through exceptional customer service, security, and innovation, particularly in emerging markets.

 

To reinforce its trustable, professional, and elevating brand identity, Celeris sought a bold, dynamic, interactive, and mobile-responsive website redesign. The goal was to enhance its digital presence, reduce reliance on paid ads, and establish itself as a leader in payment orchestration.

Challenge

We first looked at the biggest pain points in the existing website that led to high drop-off rates and low click-through rates. The existing website struggled with low engagement and weak storytelling, making it difficult to convey Celeris’ value.

 

Additionally, unstructured information and a text-heavy interface created navigation challenges, while an outdated UI further hindered user engagement and conversions.

The team facilitated workshops and user interviews with stakeholders and  end-users to gather insights around current understanding, usage & expectations

 

We started with understanding the product from the stakeholders. Looking into the positives and areas of improvement for celeris as well as its competitors.

 

Some of the key points were:

1. Stronger Storytelling & Brand Positioning – Incorporate compelling narratives to position Celeris as a dependable payment partner and clearly communicate its value proposition.

 

2. Enhanced User Engagement & Interaction – Create a visually appealing, interactive experience to improve user retention, engagement, and time spent on the site.

 

3. Improved Conversion & Retention – Optimize the website to increase lead generation, boost conversion rates, and enhance user retention through a seamless digital experience.

 

4. Outdated & Static Visuals – The website UI was old and outdated and less reflective of Celeris’ innovative approach.

DEFINE

Based on our research, we identified a critical gap in how Celeris presents its value. “Payment professionals visiting the Celeris website struggle to quickly understand its offerings, navigate relevant solutions, and engage with the platform due to unstructured content, poor discoverability, and a lack of interactivity. This negatively impacts user retention, trust, and conversion rates”

 

Design Goal

Strengthen Brand Storytelling & Visual Identity – Clearly communicate Celeris’ value proposition, differentiators, and solutions while enhancing its overall look and feel with a bold, modern, and professional rebrand that reflects innovation and trust.

Typography

Geometric sans serif typefaces have been a popular design tool ever since these actors took to the world’s stage. Poppins is one of the new comers to this long tradition. With support for the Devanagari and Latin writing systems, it is an internationalist take on the genre.
Each letterform is nearly monolinear, with optical corrections applied to stroke joints where necessary to maintain an even typographic color. The Devanagari base character height and the Latin ascender height are equal; Latin capital letters are shorter than the Devanagari characters, and the Latin x-height is set rather high.

Colour

The combination is inherently aesthetically playful with red’s representation of life and energy, and blue’s representation of trust and calmness. The vibrant usage of secondary colours act as a support in accentuating the content of the application.
While Dark green and black can be standard for text usage throughout the app.

Keeping in mind the target users, we used Iconography to visually simplify the content of the App, making it instantly accessible to users. Elegant & simple icons have the power to attract attention and keep users engaged. We created meaningful icons that help in reducing content and used it suitably to enhance usability.
