Today’s generation IS health and fitness conscious, across the world. From older generation, to millennials and even GenZs, everyone is on a lookout for their perfect gym routine. The primary problem still remains the same – people find gymming difficult because they lack knowledge about proper techniques, equipment usage or creating an effective workout plan. Without proper guidance, it is challenging to make progress, which can be discouraging. As a result, we began our research by holding workshops and interacting with our stakeholders in order to better understand our primary consumers, their workflows, pain spots, technological restrictions, product goals, and expectations.
Our discovery process identified a variety of different user groups.
We intended to attract people who are interested in a healthy lifestyle but lack the knowledge around it. We worked closely with the Sense-I team to generate real time personalized workouts, provide key quality metrics such as intensity of each exercise, provide aggregated metrics etc. The goal was to have a single unified app across all the products, with a unified dashboard and relevant data aggregation.
We wanted to come up with something engaging to create and overall impactful workout experience. High-quality video exercises from top trainers bring a fun element to the workouts, the use of common symbols and workout related terminologies quicken the process of the app and build familiarity.
While designing the visuals of the app, we also created common symbols and icons which referred to workout related terminologies, and quickens the adoption and familiarity of the app.

While working on the UI design of the app, we carefully considered the specific needs and preferences of coaches, athletes and gym enthusiasts. We understood our users and built intuitive navigation, personalization option and created engaging responsive UI design.
As a result, we curated the branding, web design and app design for Sense-I, keeping in mind the current trends in the fitness market, and maintaining the tone and style of the design as powerful and bold that speaks to the current and potential audience.
